well i've been telling everyone the past couple months to invest in FOSL, and today it shot up. Money for me and whoever listened.

But I can't really give you tips unless you know about the companies you want to invest in, you shouldn't invest in a company unless you know everything they do. Generally, you want to buy low. If you don't have a lot of money, try finding some stocks under 3/5 dollars and researching companies. Stay away from social media stocks at all costs... these always flop, examples -- Zynga, Facebook, Leap, EBIX, etc.

open an account on scottrade, etrade, or one of those popular investment sites, follow instructions...

or go to a scottrade location in houston and talk to a person and set up an account, make sure you have your bank account ready so you can transfer money to start with, if you have a job with a pension you can use that too.

well if your really low on funds and need to double your money quickly then yes but be careful with which ones you choose. with enough research and watching the market for a couple months you should be able to get an idea of which ones to invest in. Once they double your money pull it out quickly and invest in something else. if you want to play penny stocks i suggest investing in some penny stocks at first, once you double your money, sell, and then split your money 50/50 put half in another penny stock and then the other half in something larger therefore you can double your penny stock money constantly and use the other half to invest in something larger that could possible double/triple or even quadruple your money over time. learn the stock language too and get acquainted with volume, pe ratios, market caps, etc.

that's why I asked, they say if you low on funds, penny stocks the best bet, probably do that till a get my paypa up, then start investing on them big corporations

GE is a good "big company" stock to invest in btw.

go to wells fargo open a checking and savings joint account with debit card, each time you use your debit card they move a dollar into your savings account, use money from checking to invest in penny stocks. Transfer money to your savings when you cash out from investments.

or you can always take out a loan to use money to invest with, but that's risky as money isnt guaranteed to you when investing and you are more than likely gonna have a bitch of an interest rate on that loan.... just a thought
