What go dine?

I got a 04 impala and a pair of Merlon's M3 15s.
I got this box from my partna to set em in and I had them hooked up in my mommas car until I got mine.
Couple weeks ago I was ridin round bangin em and my amp pretty much blew up and I blew the cone/dust cap off one of my 15s

So now it's like this.



To make shit worse, I can't find the piece the popped off now.
So I'm thinkin bout just doin 1 15".
What kinda ya'll think I should do?
Sealed(1.8-5.2 c/ft) or vented (3-5)?
and where can I get this box done and for how much?
Or should I get a prefab one?

Get a better 15 first

And that boss amp aint gonna cut it

I would if I could but I dont got that type of money. Just got the new slab week ago an put it in shop Monday then gettin it out later today so money tight.

both of the enclosure specs are grossly over estimated

it's prolly more like sealed=.75 - 2ft
and vented 1.25 - 3.5ft

I never even heard of merlins tho' but you'd prolly be better off with sum dam Q-powers for the price.
I got my ORION XTR's at a pawnshop for $30 ($300 each brand new)
I don't use them anymore but that's still an unheard of price for orions.

Thank for the info. But like I said earlier I'm strapped for cash at the moment and I'm just working with what I got. I plan on upgrading in the future when my money right and my slab right. But at the same time it's not like I'm doin competitions n shit tho

by the way. that one sub will be louder than both of them in a sealed small box. subs do need their space to breathe so they can perform better and louder. also, i will need dimensions(width--in between the wheel wells--. height--between the false floor and the rear deck--, and depth--couple inches off the back seat to the where you would want enough trunk space for your personal belongings--)

One sub will be louder in a ported box, than both subs in a sealed? And I'm getting slab out the shop today so I'll get them measurements for you later today or tomorrow. U gone b at slab sunday? I might come through n u can see what you think

that is correct(in most applications that i worked on). in this case, it will because that 1 sub will be on about the same size of the last box you had on both woofers. and yes i will be there on slab sunday. i will have a white nissan xterra with a lot of sticks and a troll face on my back window saying "you mad bruh?" LOL. and YOU WILL HEAR ME. lol

Shit tell me bout it. just had to put my shit in the shop this week awready and I barely been had it. But it rides smooth and roomy as fuck on the inside. I love hot boxin in that bitch with the seats leaned all way back just chillin.

Ok bet. I appreciate all this knowledge. And bet. That's wassup wouldn't mind hearin your system. Not sure if I'm make it tho for sure. but I'll post back here and let y'all know. Right now my slab is completely factory. I don't want to give up the factory look either so I'm prolly have to run a LOC from my rear.
