I know it's a little late, but I just got here. I'm a huge sports fan, especially when it comes to football. So I made this thread so that NFL talk isn't scattered all over the "sports" section. You can talk about draft picks, drama, and any other shit that's going on preseason/postseason.
On to the divisional playoffs....
I'm picking the Jets over the Colts today - two reasons why. First, I would love to see the Colts lose and the Jets to go to the Super Bowl. Secondly, I want the Jets to go to the Super Bowl so that they can BEAT the Dikings - if they beat the Saints - so that Favre can cry on national TV because he lost. Not only did he lose to just anyone, he lost to the team he played for last year.
I'm a Cowboys fan and I hope the Dikings die slow! BTW, what the fuck were the Boys doing last week? It's like them fools didn't even show up. I don't see how you can go on a 4 game winning streak beating an undefeated team, playing two shut outs, and beating a team back to back and get fucking BLOWN out like they did.

Why all the hate for the Vikings, TDUB? Was it just because of the Cowboys game?
Anyway, Jets got beat and the Vikings just walked all the way to the endzone of their first drive. I think the Vikings will win this game using the same strategy the Cowboys did to beat NO. The Saints defense sucks, they can get turnovers when they are winning big, but if its a close game they are one of the worst.
Jason Garrett is a fag. The Cowboy's offense couldn't get any sort of rhythm against the Vikings. It was a good season, though. Beating the Eagles three times including a big playoff win means a lot, I hate Philly so much. We will save the Super Bowl run for next year when it will be in Arlington.

No real hate for the Vikings, I just wanted to see them lose like I said in my first post. And yea, our OL did ZERO for Romo that's why he couldn't get anything off. The Vikings are pretty much a one dimensional team right now, so that's why I thought we would of had their ass beat. Our secondary was on fire, so I thought they would be able to stop the passing game. Dallas just didn't show up for that game. It was a complete disappointment IMO.Originally Posted by sportsgod24
Jerry needs to keep Wade Phillips on the coaching staff next year because he's finally got Dallas' D where it needs to be. He's also cleaned out the locker room of all distractions. As far as Jason Garret goes, I think he's good, the OL just didn't show up that day, so what can you do. Plus we were facing a team ranked #3 in defense. Losing a couple valuable players on our OL didn't help either. Jared Allen had to be stopped and it didn't get done.
I think next year we will learn from our mistakes and come back strong.

Hopefully OT Bruce Campbell will fall to us in the draft. I don't know how much Flozell has left in him. A lot of people will be pissed about drafting an offensive lineman first round, but that is what we need.
Well we learned that Jason Witten can't block Jared Allen. I think it may have been the first game ever where a TE had two sacks charged against him.
Pissed about the Saints, the Vikings offense had to work hard to lose that one. Lets go Colts!!
