Thread: Need help burning Rosetta Stone discs

You need to create image files of your disc then you can burn the images back to disc whenever you want. I dont know what you mean by bootable disc, but any ISO-making program should be able to make images of your discs.

What i meant by "bootable" was when you put the copied version of the back up disc in for the first time will i be able to install the program with it and have the language packs work aswell.

I jus thought of another question..can I just put all 4 programs on a dvd instead of 4 cd-r's??

what is roseatta stone? its a learning program?! right?
i mean generally its possible to burn that(to burn everything)
yes you can......do it all on one DVD
i did that one time with windows xp and all servicepacks!
but i dont remember the hole way....have to research that too....
and i know what u mean with bootable.....
but that cd dont have to be bootable....
because u dont want to start it before windows...(feel me?)

do you got nero ore alcohol 120%???

you can burn a "medium"[cd ore dvd] with the language packs inside.....but u cant include them (feel me?)
i mean you can do the files on the cd...if the "medium is big enough" ?!
and when you install the programm (the files are on the cd) but you still have to install every languagepack seperatly (feel me?)

i mean how many cd are the hole collection...with the PACKS included

is it one cd and the PACKS are normaly files....that u only have to add to the folder? to keep get it runnin´?!
ore is it a 4 cd colletion with the packs? and you want the hole collection on one dvd?

try this:

make a image out of the first cd "with alcohol120%"
after creatin the image
mount the new created image with alcohol and "the alcohol drive"
than open nero and create a ISO "dvd ore cd"
just look how big the files are!!!! i mean when its bigger than 700mb take a DVD
than just go to the mounted drive copy all files and folder´s
and paste "drop" them into the white field of nero.....on the left
than you create a new folder in the white field by right-mouse-click
than put the second cd in a other drive (not the alcohol drive) [just for understanding!]
and copy all files&folders from the second cd and drop them into the new folder that you made with nero
after that
click burning
but dont burn the cd...
make a image out of it......
you find this in the options of the nero cd
you do that by setting a hook..... hope that is the right word?!
after creatin the image
u have a file named (unknown.NRG)
and know you mount that file with alcohol
and put the 3rd cd in the other drive
create a iso and so on........

Rosetta stone is a language learning software progam (spanish in my case)
so you have to mount the cd's using alcohol 120%? then use isoimage to make a image version of that then burn?

I gotta find a full version of alchol if i need it and i dont use nero except for burning cd's

iff we are talkin bout burning programm compilations
all other burning programms dont have the option to burn that
but u will see!!!1
