No flash... apple just had to ammend some of gheir ads showing it doing flash and adobe released an ad making fun of it for not. Plus no multitasking... wtf... Even my windows mobile phone which I'm on right now multitasks. I'm sure future versions will be tight and they're already writing camera coding in future versions of the software but as it srands now this thing isnt a pc replacement or even a netbook replacement.

It's a bigger iPhone disguised as a tablet, but lacks less power than tablets produced in 2003. It's a bigger iPhone without USB, or even firewire support. Hell, even the iPhone had a camera in it, this sadly does not. Where is the SD Card support? Oh, the iPad completely lacks any real operating system, instead running the phone based operating shell used on the iPhone.

Wait a second, the same operating shell as the iPhone? As in, identical? You'd better believe it's identical! So, basically, it's a bigger iPhone with less features than an iPhone? Forreals? Those are the biggest issues with the iPad, 400+ dollars for a downgrade enlargened iPhone.

adobe the enemy, HTML5 coming soon, (maybe thats why the release of the iPad is so late?) and that shit will replace the buggy-ass flash

Well to refresh this whole thing, when I read about the Ipad in the paper I was like "who the fuck wants this?" I cant believe people dont think its fucked up that you have to load all your music with Itunes and "sync" your ipod to the computer. I like going to windows explorer and dragging those bitches to whatever I need. Those fuckers at apple are probably tracking trends of library additions with Itunes. Who knows what information they may gather while Itunes is running. They are reaching too far into peoples lives, and nobody seems to mind.

why would u bash the iphone? my 3gs fuckin kicks ass and is probably way better and has way more features on it than whatever phone you have.

oh and the Ipad you can probably download apps for it to take care of most of those problems, like Backgrounder; it lets me run 2 programs on my Iphone at the same time. There will probably be an app available to download Flash or something compatible with it (since all u were bitching about flash which i really dont see a problem i never go on any of those gay websites thrill listed anyways).

But damn nigga, this device is nothing more than a palm pilot, with web surfing abilities, and maybe a few other things. It is not meant to "replace" the Iphone or w.e its just to use as a little palm pilot to check your emails and shit that fits in your pocket.. for like business men and shit.

I don't like anything apple produces because they don't give you any flexibility. You HAVE to use apple itunes for every damn thing. HTML5 is cool but they don't want to enable adobe products because some kinda control issue with updates and 3rd party applications. anyway china has made a knockoff of the ipad that uses the droid system. If i would by a mini notebook i want to use it like i want to not how the apple guidelines determine.

There are what 4 different iphones and what's the big difference? People do need to smarten up about buying the same thing over and over with an extra antenna or video camera
