I’ve seen a fair amount and I’m always watching more
Right now I’m going down an extensive list given to me by a film professor (I’m in film school) as well as whatever is suggested on the Criterion Channel.
One thing though there are plenty of movies out there better than Citizen Kane.. at least in my opinion even Orson Welles said there are movies on his filmography that are better

AD Astra is a great movie (see it in IMAX)
basically if Space Odyssey and Apocalypse Now had a love child

anyone want to simultaneously watch downton abby friday so we can cry together on facetime when its over
Joker is definitely worth seeing IMO.. i definitely enjoyed the dark undertones and it was definitely clever enough for me to think of it as more than just a "superhero" movie
in it's own right it is a character study and for that they had to give up the more comic-book elements of the character, which was the right move in my opinion.
don't know if it will be in my top films of this year (cuz it could be better) but it's definitely worth it for the story alone.
