U.S. to Resume Capital Punishment for Federal Inmates on Death Row
WASHINGTON — The federal government will resume executions of death row inmates after a nearly two-decade hiatus, Attorney General William P. Barr said Thursday, countering a broad national shift away from the death penalty as public support for capital punishment has dwindled.

Texas executed tonight Larry Swearingen for the killing of 19-year-old Melissa Trotter.
He has maintained his innocence. His lawyer says bad science got him on death row.
His final words: “Lord forgive them. They don’t know what they are doing.”

What y'all think about the Rodney Reed case? He's scheduled to be murdered in a few weeks.
Why are Republicans going up against the 10 Commandments? The Bible says killing is bad. You can't call yourself Pro-Life and then kill a man

Rodney Reed is days away from execution, despite new evidence that could exonerate him.
Together we can save his life, but time is running out.
Tell Governor Abbott to stop the execution:
@J-Don you silent

Thanks to a new DNA analysis, a man is exonerated of rape and freed from prison after 17 years
(CNN) -- A Georgia man who served 17 years of a 20-year sentence has been exonerated from his rape conviction and released from prison, after a judge agreed that new analysis of DNA evidence clears him.
Always black men. The system is biased towards people of color
